(Single Purpose)
2.5 Remote Code

0. Scope
This page explains two different data-processing contexts: first, the general handling of information when you visit the Amzkit website, submit contact details, ask about purchases, or receive support; and second, the extension-specific handling of data when you use the FBA Freight Form Helper extension. These contexts have different boundaries, which are described separately below.
1. General Privacy Notice for the Amzkit Website and Services
When you visit the Amzkit website or use related inquiry, purchase, contact, or support services, we may process limited general information as necessary to provide those services. This section applies to website access and ordinary business communications, and does not apply to shipment-related business data handled locally inside the Extension.
1.1 Information We Collect for General Website Use
When you use this website and related services, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Information you voluntarily submit, such as your name, phone number, email address, company information, order notes, and inquiry content.
- Transaction and service information, such as purchased products or plans, order status, payment method, delivery records, and after-sales communication records.
- Basic access and device information, such as access time, browser type, device information, page visit records, and necessary technical information used for website security and troubleshooting.
1.2 How We Use General Information
We collect and use general information primarily for the following purposes:
- To process orders, payments, and service delivery.
- To send order confirmations, payment results, delivery instructions, and service notices.
- To provide customer support, after-sales service, and troubleshooting.
- To improve website content, product experience, and service workflows.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, abnormal transactions, or other security risks.
- To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
1.3 Sharing and Disclosure of General Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share or disclose relevant information only when necessary in the following situations:
- To complete payments, order processing, messaging, or technical support, with payment providers, technical service providers, or email/messaging service providers.
- When disclosure is required by applicable laws, judicial authorities, or regulators.
- When disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our legitimate rights and interests, those of users, or the public.
1.4 Retention of General Information
We retain general information for a reasonable period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. When the information is no longer necessary, we may delete it, anonymize it, or otherwise handle it appropriately based on the circumstances.
1.5 Your Rights Regarding General Information
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may request that we:
- Confirm whether we hold relevant information about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete relevant information.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent and such withdrawal is applicable.
1.6 Security of General Information
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your general information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
2. Extension-Specific Privacy Policy for FBA Freight Form Helper
The following content applies specifically to the FBA Freight Form Helper extension. Because shipment, SKU, customs, warehouse, and template configuration data can be sensitive business information, the Extension is designed around a local-first and privacy-focused architecture.
2.1 Information We Process
To provide its core functionality—capturing Amazon FBA shipment data, enriching SKU declaration details, and generating freight-forwarder Excel forms—the Extension processes the following categories of information locally in your browser:
- Shipment metadata: shipment ID, shipment name, tracking code, destination warehouse code (such as FWA4), and similar shipment identifiers.
- Package-level details: carton dimensions, carton weight, unit quantity, MSKU, FNSKU, and ASIN.
- Warehouse receiving address: the physical receiving address of the Amazon fulfillment center extracted from the Amazon page structure.
- User-provided product information: SKU-related fields that you enter manually, such as Chinese and English product names, material, HS code, usage, declared unit price, currency, and product images.
- Freight Excel template files: `.xls` or `.xlsx` template files that you upload for field mapping and export.
- Local configuration and working state: template bindings, field mapping history, company name, SKU drafts, current shipment cache, and shipment history, used only to keep the Extension working correctly across the popup, configuration page, and shipment workflow.
2.2 Single Purpose
The Extension has a single purpose: when you voluntarily open relevant Amazon Seller Central shipment pages, it helps capture shipment and package data from those pages and combines that data with your locally maintained SKU information and Excel template configuration to generate freight-forwarder shipping forms.
The Extension is not used for advertising, profiling, data brokerage, credit evaluation, or any purpose unrelated to shipment form generation.
2.3 Local Storage and Data Localization
We do not collect, transmit, or sell your extension working data.
- Local-only storage: all captured shipment information, manually entered SKU data, product images, company name, field history, draft data, shipment history, and uploaded Excel templates are stored only in the browser’s local extension storage.
- No backend dependency: the Extension does not rely on a developer-controlled backend server, telemetry pipeline, or analytics endpoint, and it has no feature that sends your working data to a developer-controlled external service.
- Light obfuscation for certain values: certain locally stored SKU-related financial values, such as declared prices, are lightly obfuscated to reduce the risk of casual plaintext exposure on the local machine.
2.4 Permissions and Compliance Statement
The permissions requested in manifest.json follow the principle of minimum necessary access and are used only for the core workflow of shipment capture, template configuration, and form generation:
storage: used only to persist SKU data, SKU images, company name, field history, drafts, current shipment cache, shipment history, template files, and template binding configuration locally.unlimitedStorage: used only to avoid failures caused by the default browser storage quota being too small for Excel templates, template bindings, product images, or shipment history retained locally by the Extension.host_permissionsfor Amazon Seller Central domains: used only to allow the Extension to run on shipment pages that you actively open, read shipment-related response data in that page context, extract warehouse address information, and transform that data into the structured format needed for freight form generation.- Current tab communication behavior: to show the latest shipment in the popup, the Extension queries the currently active tab and asks the injected content script in that tab for the most recently captured shipment data. The Extension may also open its internal template configuration page when you click related controls. These actions serve only the Extension’s workflow and are not used to collect browsing history or inspect unrelated websites.
2.5 Remote Code Compliance Statement
All core Extension logic is packaged and shipped with the Extension itself. The Extension does not download, replace, or execute remotely hosted code controlled by the developer. Its network interaction is limited to reading shipment-related data that is already present in the Amazon Seller Central page context you are actively using, so that the data can be processed locally for form generation.
2.6 Your Control and Deletion Options
You retain full control over your business data:
- Clear the current shipment: you can remove the currently displayed shipment and related local cache through the popup.
- Delete stored history and bindings: you can clear shipment history or remove template bindings, and the related data will be deleted from local extension storage.
- Uninstall behavior: when you uninstall the Extension, the browser removes the Extension’s local storage sandbox, including the related data stored by the Extension.
2.7 Data Boundary Between the Website and the Extension
The Amzkit website and the FBA Freight Form Helper extension involve different data-processing contexts. If you submit contact forms, order details, or emails through the website, we may process the relevant contact or transaction information as necessary to provide those services. By contrast, shipment, SKU, template, image, and declaration data handled inside the Extension is designed to remain in the browser’s local extension storage and is not uploaded to a developer-controlled server.
2.8 Policy Updates
If this Privacy Policy needs to change because of business adjustments, Chrome Web Store policy updates, or Extension feature changes, the updated wording will be released in a later version or update notice. However, the core principle that Extension working data is not uploaded to a developer-controlled server will not change.
